Berry & Mushroom Picking
Most people don't think of it, but the Kenai Peninsula is a superb place to "hunt" and gather wild fruit. Within minutes of the Soldotna B&B, one can find a large variety of mushrooms including bolets, morels and gilled mushrooms.
In fall, blueberries, rasberries, currants, salmonberries and huckleberries are abundant. These are great for eating right off the bush or making preserves.

 | Customer Testimonial
"The guys all went fishing and canoeing. They caught lots of silvers while I had plenty of time to learn about mushroom hunting clamming, agate hunting, etc.. Monika, Scott, Dorothy, and Steve kept me involved and were lots of fun to be with. Great food, great location and great company!" Camilla Ingram
